King Cakes

We celebrated the epiphany in January with King Cakes.  The epiphany celebrates the visit of the Magi to the infant Jesus after their long journey.  Each cake had a small baby figurine to represent our King.  Each child got a slice of the cake and the child with the "King" was our king for the day!

 Do you have the King?

Merry Belated Christmas!

Alright.......playing catch up again! :) These are pictures taken before Christmas.  The third Graders made some AWESOME gingerbread houses and invited us to come and check them out!  They definitely looked good enough to eat!  Then a few from our Christmas party.  The kids had a WONDERFUL party!  They made cute Rudolph headbands, danced their sillies out, and had yummy cookies and treats!  Thanks mom's and dad's for all your hard work!
